The Cool Beans Library Cafe

My friends and I love coffee and books. I’ve heard of Cool Beans Library Cafe at Maginhawa St. in Quezon City and have always wanted to go in, so Friday early morning I’ve decided to invite my friends to go there. The cafe is open at 10:00 am, it was still closed when we came, so we decided to have our breakfast at Papa Didi’s instead. But after we had our breakfast, we went back to Cool Beans to sit, drink a coffee and relax.

When my friends and I first stepped inside, we instantly fell in love with the huge bookshelf that welcomed our eyes. Cool Beans is beautiful with their very impressive book collection it is perfect for book lovers and students.

Different genres of books are available on the shelves: fiction, non-fiction, classics, and more. They also have a collection of magazines.

We’re the first customers, and thus we took advantage of it and owned the place, haha.  Sorry for our morning faces, books are too alluring not to take pictures with them.

Cool Beans Cafe has specialty highland coffee varieties from Sagada, Benguet, and Kalinga. My friend got herself a cup of Sagada coffee (P80) which is their best seller coffee as per their barista.

I got myself a very delicious frosty blend Oreo (P130). They also offer pastries, soups, salad, rice meals, pasta, and salad. I will surely try their meal on my next visit.

Nowadays, it’s so difficult to find a quiet place to have a nice cup of coffee with your friends because a lot of coffee places are getting crowded especially in Metro. Cool Beans is a kind of place you will consider as a quiet and cozy place that welcomes someone who just want to sit, drink coffee and get lost in a book for a while.

Aw, books and coffee they’re really a perfect combination. i’ve been dreaming of having this kind of business, too.

Tbh, if you love books and you hate crowd, you will most likely choose this place to stay over Sb. Lol.

Their drinks are just around P80-130 while meals are around P100-160. Super affordable!

Awww such a nice review. Scott, the owner, is a friend. And I can attest to the quality of their coffee, most of which are sourced in Benguet. <3
